The Series

Welcome to RAISE.

RAISE is a 6-Part Docu-Series.

Humanity stands at one of the greatest turning points in its history. For the first time, we are creating a form of intelligence capable of reshaping nearly every aspect of civilization—from the food we grow and the water we protect to the energy we generate, the diseases we treat, and the future we leave for generations to come. Yet the defining question of our time is not whether artificial intelligence will change the world—it already is. The question is whether we will have the wisdom to guide it.

When our filmmaking journey began two years ago, we saw the global conversation around AI being driven by two opposing narratives. One warned of a dystopian future in which artificial intelligence leads to the end of humanity. The other promised a technological utopia where AI solves every problem and creates unlimited abundance.

RAISE lives between these extremes—where idealism meets responsibility, where innovation meets ethics, and where the future is shaped not by fear or hype, but by thoughtful human choices. It is where the middle meets the road.

Rather than asking what AI might become, RAISE explores what AI is already becoming. Across six cinematic episodes, the series follows pioneering scientists, engineers, physicians, conservationists, farmers, innovators, and global leaders who are using artificial intelligence to address some of humanity’s most urgent challenges—from food security and clean water to biodiversity, global health, sustainable energy, and climate resilience.

But beneath these stories lies a deeper exploration of intelligence itself.

RAISE illuminates the importance of the other AIs that have guided humanity for millennia: Ancestral Intelligence and Ancient Intelligence. These are the forms of wisdom carried through Indigenous knowledge systems, elders, lived experience, cultural memory, and nature itself—the accumulated intelligence of generations that understood balance, stewardship, reciprocity, and our relationship with the living world.

At the heart of the series is a simple yet profound question:

Must we draw upon the wisdom of the past to guide the intelligence of the future?

Because intelligence alone has never guaranteed humanity’s progress. Intelligence gives us the ability to create. Experience teaches us consequence. Wisdom helps us choose what is worth creating in the first place.

Artificial intelligence may become one of the most powerful tools humanity has ever invented, but it is also a mirror. It will increasingly reflect the values, priorities, and decisions we make today. If built without wisdom, it may amplify our greatest shortcomings. If guided by humility, compassion, and a deep respect for life, it may help humanity solve challenges once thought impossible.

Ultimately, RAISE is not a series about technology.

It is a series about humanity.

It is about ensuring that scientists stand alongside storytellers, engineers alongside ethicists, entrepreneurs alongside educators, and innovators alongside Indigenous wisdom keepers and elders. It is about recognizing that the future belongs to all of us, and that the conversations shaping artificial intelligence must be as diverse as humanity itself.

The future will not be determined by what artificial intelligence can do.

It will be determined by what humanity chooses to become.

The Future is Listening...
